Just another day

So, I'm not very good at writing about our everyday happenings. The other night, I was more tired than usual and I was laying on my bed. Austin came over and laid next to me and was talking up a storm about his day at school. He talked for an hour! I love my little man. He is hilarious. Listening to him talk, amazes me because he sounds so much older.

Kayla is sassy as ever. I think she's been a teenager for two years now. Not really, but it feels like it. I keep hoping it's a phase. But, she is very kind and loving. She is always watching out for Austin and always wants to help me. I love our mother/daughter talks and we always enjoy "girl time" by going shopping.

Chris is busy at work, as usual. Don't ask us when he's leaving or where he's going becuase it is constantly changing. We are just enjoying our time together while we can.

I am still loving my job. I was worried about how the kids would be going to Primetime after school, but they absolutely love it. I had two days off work last week, but they asked me not to pick them up after school so they could go to Primetime. I still picked them up, but I thought it was funny that they would rather be there than come home and spend more time with me. Go figure.
