So, here's a picture of the latest cake I've done. Our ward had a youth fireside last night on the temple. Since Chris is gone and couldn't be there, I helped him out by doing a cake. I was told that they wanted everything white.
To be honest, I enjoy the results of cake decorating a lot more than I actually like doing it. There is soooooo much time and work that goes into it. But, I guess I'm that vain, and I keep doing it just for the results.

Talk about talent. That is a beautiful cake! If you ever come this way I would LOVE to learn some tricks from you!!! I really want to learn and think if I put some time and effort into it i could be good at decorating cakes. My biggest fear is that I will gain weight learning. How VAIN is that?!=)
Anything really great requires patients and work. The person with a clean house doesn't exactly like cleaning.........they just like having a clean house so it's worth the effort they put into it.
You ARE so talented Jeanette!! Great job. I bet everyone loved it. I wish you were here to have some bread and jam too. Are you coming this way anytime soon?
I loved your other cake, but this just blows me away! I'm so jelous of your talent! I think I told you before but that is something I have always wanted to learn to do. I think I would eat it all though before I actually got around to decorating it!
